It's not a fancy horse trailer...

When we evacuated for Hurricane Irma in September, we found ourselves in Alabama where we decided that running from a hurricane after selling our second home in Michigan was the perfect time to purchase an Airstream. I wanted the Tommy Bahama edition with it's cool light up bar and tropical interior design, but we ended with this Airstream Basecamp instead and I love it.

We camped in Mandeville, LA while we were waiting to get back into The Keys. Since then, I've had more traditionally planned camping trips including up to North Carolina, Thanksgiving camping near Orlando and most recently I camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground and near Sarasota at Oscar Scherer State Park

The funny thing is I get followed, flagged down, stopped and questioned about just what this is. Most think it's a fancy horse trailer. Some think it looks like an Instant Pot. I'm all for it being a mobile coffee trailer. And sometimes it is...for myself!

The little galley kitchen with the best view ever (ignore that it's dark -- those are all windows behind the stovetop). Fridge, stove, sink, and microwave.  We took our last Hello Fresh meal with us on the trip and the handy bag fit perfectly in the fridge.
